A Hospital, NYC, Friday, 1998
Sep. 26th, 2008 09:59 amTheir daughter was here.
Their daughter was here.
All of the doubts of the last eight months, and the bizarreness of the last 24 hours -- and let's not get into the hijinks needed to keep the hospital staff from noticing when mommy went back to being daddy mere hours after the baby was born -- faded away, and Angela was left with perfection.
Marty was still asleep; even though going back to being a male had repaired much of the damage from childbirth, he still needed to rest. The baby, too, was slumbering. The grandparents were on their way.
( And Angela sent an email. )
