Wednesday Afternoon, Room 304
After a morning spent scraping gook out of the mini-fridge in the assistant's lounge, all Angela wants is a nice, hot shower. That, and possibly some time in a decontamination ward.
There isn't a decontamination ward on the floor, so she settles for the shower. Unfortunately, after she steps out of the shower, she's confronted by the pile of stuff she got at IKEA.
The bedspread is easy enough to put on the bed; so are the lamp and the new posters. But the bookshelf and the chair?
She hopes someone will help her put them together before she breaks either the furniture or herself.
[OOC: Her door is open. Come bug her.]

"Did I hear there was some damage to somebody's thumb? I've brought band-aids."

"And hello, stranger. How you?"
no subject
He takes Angela's wounded hand. "Let me take a look at it."
no subject
She gives her hand to him. "It's not that bad," she admits, and it isn't; really just a bad scratch on the outside of her thumb.
no subject
He gives Angela a quick peck on the cheek and leads her into the bathroom. "Let's get this wound cleaned up."
no subject
"So have you been doing anything fun?"
no subject
He helps clean up Angela's thumb, dries it and applies some kind of ointment and a band-aid. He finishes it off by kissing her thumb.
"There you go. All better. How was the trip to IKEA?"
no subject
"IKEA was fun. Parker and Zero got into a pillow fight and got us escorted out. I might have bought too much stuff. Want to help put it together? I mean, unless you're busy with other things."
no subject
Marty looks over the furniture that's around the room. "Sure. Be happy to help with the furniture. What is this? A Bookcase?"
Marty leans over and starts reading looking at the assembly instructions. "So what have you been up to other than IKEA?"
no subject
She shoves her hands in her pockets and studies the instructions with him. "This doesn't look too hard, I guess. Thanks for the help, anyhow." Then, hesitantly: "Can I ask you something?"

because oh my god, the mun got eaten by the room assignment post, comes by and knocks on Angela's door with a small bag of candy in hand after getting her voicemail."Hey, Chase? You in?"
After Marty
Re: After Marty
He waves the bag of candy at her. "Thought you might like some -- uh, there's a couple chocolate bars, and some lollipops and stuff. I went a little crazy at Wonka's the other day. There was a huge sale."
Re: After Marty
"So what do you think of the new stuff? Um, did you ever see my room before? I can't remember."
Re: After Marty
He looks around at the bookshelves, and the lamp. "Whoa. Funky. I like it," he says, nodding. "'cept no, I haven't seen your room before, so I can't really tell what it looked like before. Still, I like it. I'd love to get some stuff, but y'know Cally, she'd rather build it instead."
Re: After Marty
She unwraps a lime lolly and jams it into the corner of her mouth. Sucking on it, she reaches under her bed for a midsized shopping bag. "I wasn't sure what you would like, so I just got boring stuff," she says witha shrug, passing the bag to Anders.
It contains two pillows and a rug in the bag.
Re: After Marty
Opening the bag, he nods happily. "This is perfect, yeah, thanks. Gotta keep it simple with me, y'know, 'cause I'm frak-all good at matching colors anyway. Um . . . I gave the money to Rory. She did get it to you, right?"
Re: After Marty
"And yeah, navy and that dark red will match anything."

"But you're welcome, seriously."
