There were no lemurs in the computer lab, a fact for which Angela was quite grateful indeed. She sat down at a terminal and started to type.

Hi,
I got the flowers. They're perfect. Miss you too. They mean you're somewhere safe, right? I hope?
Zero and I talked about Mexican-Chinese food because of a book she's reading, and Cam said he has some pychic bond with you as his "second floor brother" and knows you're okay.
I still don't get the whole second floor thing, but whatever. When you come back you can explain it.
There was a big boykissy/girlkissy thing today. I mostly just talked to Nadia. It was ... you know how sometimes, you're in a certain mood, and talking to someone else who's also in that mood just intensifies the way you were feeling to start with? So, yeah. I think we failed to appreciate the pretty. I left before anyone actually kissed.
Also, I talked to Dr. Grissom and Mr. Lyman. They both know you're out for a little and are okay with it. I left a message for the new English teacher, too, and I'll talk to Mr. Logan tomorrow.
And a sentence I never thought I'd get to type: there are dancing lemurs allllll over school. They were doing the Hustle in Lyman's office. I so wish you had seen it.
Yours,
A
